I was thinking the Braves were awfully intense last night, and really into things, when I saw Uggla go out and jump on Freddie Freemanafter his sacrifice fly put the Braves up 13-12 in the eighth inning. So I asked Uggla about it and come to find out he thought it was the ninth!
“I was like, ‘Why am I the only one out here?’” Uggla said. “ And he was like ‘It’s the eighth inning, Dan.’ Oh ok. Great job. That’s just tells you how intense the game is.”
Freeman was still laughing about it this morning. “I was like ‘Get off me it’s the eighth,’” Freeman said. “I didn’t know what to do….It’s one of the funniest moments I’ve been a part of. Glad we won. Might be on ‘Got ‘em’ today, bloopers.”
